Who can be a Personal Representative?
This week Mark J. Davis explains the who can be a Personal Representative. In Maryland, a Probate Estate is considered a separate legal entity and a Personal Representative is required to act on behalf of that entity. To be eligible in Maryland you have to be at least 18 years old, mentally competent, never convicted of a serious crime and a U.S. citizen.
