Why Do I Need a Will?
This week, Mark Davis explains why it is necessary to have a Will. A Will determines what happens to your assets upon your death. Without a Will, the laws of intestacy determines who receives the assets. Typically, this is to the closest living relative of the deceased person. However, if there is no living relatives to the fifth degree, the assets are distributed to the local Board of Education.
